About Me

I came to yoga in my teens. I was drawn in by Geeta Inyengar's stillness and inner reflection. I was arthritic at the time and in need of natural healing. Yoga brought the healing I needed. Still practicing today, still drawn in and the benefits still flow.

My formal education started at Concordia University in philosophy and ended in a Multi-Disciplinary Program and a Fine Arts degree from Emily Carr Institute of Art and Design.

Extensive travel landed me in Seoul, Korea where I studied the language, Fine Art and Taekwondo earning my 2nd degree Black Belt. (Taekwondo still counts as The-Most-Fun-I-Ever-Had!)

In 2001, I became a Certified Hatha Yoga Teacher. I consider yoga a method of inner exploration and through attentiveness healing occurs. My teaching style reflects this.
