I've just finished reading the work of Christine R. Page, M.D., 2012 and the Galactic Center. The Return of the Great Mother.

The work is a woven construction of Mythology, Astrology, Alchemy and the healing process. Primarily Page's thesis rests on the idea that we, as a world civilization, are on our way back to the Great Mother: The Galactic Center. Page understands the GC from a spiritual awareness perspective, not one of astronomical co-ordinates or black hole physics. What she has processed is that the GC is the source feminine energy from which we all came from, and that, at this time in our cycle, we are all returning towards.

Undoubtedly, Page's work has developed from her own personal journey. This is what struck such a cord for myself. That while she combines her own seeing with documented research (myth and anthroplogy) she relies primarily on her own infromation and leads the reader to do the same.

For myself, with Jupiter in Gemini in the 9th, this read hit the spot. I must say, there were points where I wished she would have gone deeper and stayed longer developing her ideas, but on the whole, her work gave me new Perpsectives (Jupiter).
